CREST

CREST (the Centre for Research and Evidence on Security Threats) is the UK’s hub for behavioural and social science research into security threats. As well as conducting world-class, independent research, CREST takes a leading role in stimulating public and professional debate; connecting disciplinary communities; informing security policy and practice; and providing training to research leaders of the future.  The organisation is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council which is part of UK Research and Innovation. The funds for this grant come from the UK intelligence and security agencies and UK Home Office. CoJiT’s discussion with Sarah Marsden who is currently leading two CREST projects, is available here.
