Review of the Combating Jihadist Terror podcast
by Dr John F. Morrison
Creator and Host of the Talking Terror Podcast Series
The strength of the CoJiT podcast series lies in its drawing together of leading national and international experts in conversation about some of the most pressing issues within terrorism and counter-terrorism. In recent years there has been a proliferation of terrorism podcasts (such as Terrorism 360, The Loopcast, Talking Terror, Tech Against Terrorism and Taking Apart Terror) and the CoJiT podcast series compares well with these. The high calibre of its guests, the focus on contemporary themes, the concise nature of the podcasts (at around 20-25 mins) and its linking in with CoJiT’s volume on Jihadist Terror: New Threats, New Solutions (Bloomsbury 2019) all give a sense of both its relevance and distinctiveness.
