Max Hill, QC is the Director of Public Prosecutions where he has been in post since 1 November 2018. Previously, he was the Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Laws in the United Kingdom (in which capacity he acted as a contributor to CoJiT). From 2012, he was Head of Chambers at Red Lion Chambers. He was Leader of the South Eastern Circuit of the Bar 2014 – 2016. Chairman of the Kalisher Trust, a Bencher of Middle Temple and a Former Chairman of the Criminal Bar Association. Called 1987, appointed Recorder 2004, Queen’s Counsel 2008.
